Ruse Floating Tiki Bar Lures Somali Pirates to Deaths

GULF OF ADEN - Wave after wave of heavily armed Somali pirates have been lured to their deaths by offers of free rum at a floating Tiki Bar shown on treasure map leaflets dropped into that country.

Using the time honored method of a treasure map to attract Somali pirates, the U.S. Navy has launched a highly successful campaign to wipe out this recent scourge of the high seas. With promises of all the free rum they can drink and scantily clad waitresses as bait, treasure map leaflets showing the location of a floating Tiki Bar ten miles off the Somali coast were dropped into the country.

U.S. submarines patrolling beneath the tropical lure merely waited for ship after ship of the heavily armed pirates to arrive for their grog, then blasted them into eternity. "Like shooting fish in a barrel," according to a Navy spokesperson. "What pirate could resist free rum?"
